The Trustees are delighted to announce that they have appointed John Cummings as Director of The Warrior Programme. John served with the regular Army (Light Infantry for 20 years) and is now a Reservist capbadged Rifles. He is a qualified trainer in the techniques delivered by The Warrior Programme Charity and has worked with the Warrior coaching and support team over the last six months. His in-depth understanding of what veterans have experienced, coupled with his knowledge of the partner organisations that Warrior works and seeks to work with, mean that John is ideally placed to take the Charity forward and establish Warrior’s position within the veteran care pathway.
The Warrior Programme has grown from strength to strength since its inception 4 years ago. Over 450 individuals have benefited from attending the courses. The charity is now at an exciting point of development where a full time Director is required to take the organisation forward and build on the sound work accomplished thus far.
