The Warrior Band Launch at The View, Battersea Power Station

The Warrior Programme is delighted to announce the launch of The Warrior Band at The View, Battersea Power Station on Tuesday 8th June 2010.

The band members are Warriors Adrian Anderson, ex Rifles, Luiz Silva and Mahda Majdiau with special guest appearances by John Illsley of Dire Straits, Liam O'Maonlai of The Hot House Flowers, Alex Reeves, drummer for Dizzee Rascal and Jeanne Marine.

With the amazing support of Island Records and Room With A View Studios The Warrior Band have produced a 3 track EP.

After a hectic few months of writing music and lyrics, sessions in the recording studio and rehearsals the band will be making their first live performance on 8th June in front of 300 guests including well known personalities such as Charley Boorman and Sir Bob Geldof at Battersea Power Station.

The EP will be available to buy on the night for £4.99 and can also be bought directly from The Warrior Programme and from Amazon.co.uk.

The Warrior Programme would like to thank Island Records and Room With A View Studios for making the EP possible, John Illsley, Liam O'Maonlai, Alex Reeves, Jeanne Marine, Catherine Stevens for their incredible contributions and Treasury Holdings for donating the venue for the night.
